Custom Paver Driveway Installation & Structural Engineering

Paver driveways engineered for vehicle loads — with a compacted aggregate base, geotextile reinforcement, and edge restraint systems that prevent spreading and rutting.

    Paver Driveway Installation

Vehicle-Rated Paver Driveways Built on Road-Grade Engineering

A paver driveway takes more load than any other hardscape on your property — thousands of pounds of vehicle, repeated daily, in heat and freeze. That's why we build paver driveways like roadways: deeper excavation, heavier aggregate base compacted in lifts, geotextile fabric to prevent subgrade migration, and a robust edge restraint system to keep pavers from spreading under load. The visible pattern is the beauty; the engineering beneath is what keeps it smooth, level, and crack-free for decades while asphalt driveways crumble and concrete cracks.

    Geotextile reinforcement prevents subgrade failure

Edge restraint systems stop paver spreading

Pattern options: herringbone, basket weave, running bond

    How We Build

    Our Paver Driveway Process

    1

    Site Evaluation & Excavation

We assess soil bearing capacity, excavate to 10–12 inches, and verify drainage routing away from the home and garage.

    2

    Base & Reinforcement

Geotextile fabric, compacted aggregate base in multiple lifts, and edge restraint stakes installed for a vehicle-rated foundation.

    3

    Paver Installation

Pavers laid in your chosen pattern, cut to fit, and compacted into the bedding layer for interlock and a flush surface.

    4

    Jointing & Sealing

Polymeric sand swept in and activated, then a penetrating sealer protects against oil stains and freeze-thaw.

    The Difference

    Professional Engineering vs. Standard Installation

    Gonzalez Hardscape
    Standard Approach
    Base Depth
    10–12 inches compacted aggregate
    4–6 inches or just sand
    Reinforcement
    Geotextile fabric and edge restraints
No fabric, plastic edge that fails
    Load Rating
    Engineered for daily vehicle traffic
Pavers shift and rut under car weight
    Repair
Individual pavers can be lifted and reset
    Concrete cracks require full replacement
